Responding to Audience Feedback - Stop Motion

"The setting of the time lapse was well chosen", "I liked the time when the video was taken"
I received positive feedback on the location and time of when I took the time lapse. I'm glad as I had hoped that there would be a lot of human activity on just a road which could contrast well with the movement of the clouds. I'm also very content that it turned out with so much activity as it was shot relatively late, so I was worried that there wouldn't be many people outside or driving past, but it turned out good.

"The song and visuals dont seem to go together"
I was originally very pleased with the way the song and the time lapse worked well together, but after seeing this comment and re-watching my animation I can see how the two aren't a perfect match. Although I don't fully agree with the feedback, next time I will try to find a piece of music which is more relaxed and laid back and not so up beat or well known/famous.

"There could've been more action", "You could of tried to have a story line", "Try to grab the audience's attention"
My original idea did have a story line and was supposed to be more interesting, but I ran into some issues so I had to improvise and come up with something else. I do agree with these comments, as my animation is predictable and doesn't hold the attention of the viewer for very long as nothing much really happens. Next time I will try to organise my time better and make sure I have a solid plan b in case a problem comes up again.
It is also true that I could've chosen a scenario which is more interesting and would look appealing, however I was short on time and couldn't plan much.

Someone picked up on the fact that the camera moved a little at the beginning of the recording.
"The camera shook a little at the start"
This was due to the fact that I hadn't framed the camera right before I started recording and adjusted it a few seconds after the recording had started. As previously mentioned I didn't have much time so I couldn't cut/edit it out, which would have improved the time lapse, so in the end I decided to keep it. Originally I didn't think it was that obvious and didn't think anyone would catch it.

"A fade in and fade out would've helped"
I originally wanted to add both, a fade in and fade out, as it would have made the whole thing better and smoother, it would have introduced the time lapse much more nicely and maybe the shake of the camera wouldn't have been as obvious. Unfortunately I didn't have the means to add these transitions, otherwise they would have been used.
